2012/13 Season
There are THREE Worcestershire County Netball Clubs taking part in the Premier League Playoffs
to be held at Loughborough University 4th & 5th May 2013
Worcester Reds
Worcester Reds came a very strong second in Premier League 2 and this has earned them the right to contest a place in Premier League 1.
Their matches are as follows:
Saturday 4th May
1130 hrs against Hucclecote (8th in Prem 1)
Sunday 5th May
0900 hrs against Turnford (3rd in Prem 2)
1230 hrs against Viper 10 Blades (9th in Prem 1)
Results:
versus Hucclecote, lost 25-40
versus Turnford, won 34-30
versus Viper 10 Blades, lost 27-53
This means that Worcester Reds will stay in Premier League 2 next season.
Their matches are as follows:
Saturday 4th May
1130 hrs against Hucclecote (8th in Prem 1)
Sunday 5th May
0900 hrs against Turnford (3rd in Prem 2)
1230 hrs against Viper 10 Blades (9th in Prem 1)
Results:
versus Hucclecote, lost 25-40
versus Turnford, won 34-30
versus Viper 10 Blades, lost 27-53
This means that Worcester Reds will stay in Premier League 2 next season.
Ryland
Ryland having joined Premier League 3 this season and come second now have the chance to earn a place in Premier League 2.
Their matches are as follows:
Saturday 4th May
1130 hrs against Dominoes (3rd in Prem 3)
1530 hrs against Dudley Leisure (8th in Prem 2)
Sunday 5th May
1415 hrs against Falcons Black (9th in Prem 2)
Results:
versus Dominoes, lost 41-60
versus Dudley Leisure, won 56-47
versus Falcons Black, lost 35-42
This means that Ryland will stay in Premier League 3 next season.
Their matches are as follows:
Saturday 4th May
1130 hrs against Dominoes (3rd in Prem 3)
1530 hrs against Dudley Leisure (8th in Prem 2)
Sunday 5th May
1415 hrs against Falcons Black (9th in Prem 2)
Results:
versus Dominoes, lost 41-60
versus Dudley Leisure, won 56-47
versus Falcons Black, lost 35-42
This means that Ryland will stay in Premier League 3 next season.
Saracens
Saracens had an excellent season in the West Midlands Regional League and have earned the opportunity to enter Premier League 3.
Their matches are as follows:
Saturday 4th May
0930 hrs against Sheffield Stormers, Yorks & Humberside Regional Winners - WITHDRAWN
1330 hrs against Billericay, East Regional Winners
Sunday 5th May
0900 hrs against Wyvern Rangers (9th Prem 3)
Premier League 3/Regional League Playoffs are split into 3 groups.
The top 2 teams in each group then play again at 1600 hrs on Sunday. A win here gets them into Premier League 3.
Results:
versus Billericay, lost 35-39
versus Wyvern Grangers, won 42-27
Got through to final as runners-up in Group B
versus Clan, lost 33-49.
This means that Saracens will stay in West Midlands Regional League next season.
